Adela and John chose me to organise their splendid wedding in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican; for the reception, they wanted to add a Renaissance touch to Palazzo Brancaccio, decorated by Ceccotti, perfectly realising the dreams of a couple in love with Rome.
Every detail was carefully planned and checked: the logistics and timing, the documents required for the ceremony, and the care and attention given to the guests. Music played a starring role throughout the event, first with the Live Band Musicarancio and then with Lorenzo Lupi's string quartet, joined by a soprano and a tenor to provide further entertainment during dinner.
A few days earlier, Adela, John and I organised a photo shoot curated by Fulvio Greco and Antonio Carneroli. At dawn, on a sunny November day, we discovered an empty Rome that welcomed us with open arms. Piazza di Spagna, a cappuccino at Antico Caffè Greco and then a quick visit to the Campidoglio, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum... what a day!!!
